ANDERSON, SC - Ashley Palmer Fowler and Kyle David Anderson were married August 9, 2008 at St. John's United Methodist Church with Rev. Kurt Stutler officiating. A reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn. The bride is the daughter of Marty and Annette Fowler and Carla and Robert Heritage of Anderson, SC. She is the granddaughter of Buck and Shirley Palmer and Curtis and Grace Fowler, all of Anderson, SC. The groom is the son of Dave and Terry Anderson of Anderson, SC. He is the grandson of Harold and Carol Anderson and Tom and Katy Hay, all of Clio, MI. The Maid of Honor was Becky Fowler of Arlington, VA, sister of the bride. The Matron of Honor was Anna Mouyous of Rock Hill, SC. Bridesmaids were Erin McBride of Rock Hill, SC, Karen Branch of Anderson, SC, Renee Thorsen of Greenville, SC, and Christina Mastrianni, of Summerville, SC. Best Man was Joel Anderson, of Birmingham, AL, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Randy DeSmyter of Boston, MA, Collin Burnett of Las Vegas, NV, Camden Owens of Jacksonville, FL, Charly Parsons of Charlotte, NC, and Michael McCutchen of Atlanta, GA. Flower Girls were Olivia Powell of Willamston, SC and Sarah Madden of Rock Hill, SC, niece of the bride. Joshua O'Handly of Greenville, SC served as Usher. Emily Conyers of North Augusta, SC and Jaime Thornton of Charleston, SC, were honor attendants. The bride is a 2003 graduate of Westside High School, a 2007 graduate of Winthrop University and is currently pursuing a Master of Education Degree at Southern Weslyn University. She is a kindergarten teacher at Nevitt Forest Elementary School. The groom is a 2003 graduate of Westside High School and 2007 graduate of Clemson University. He is a civil engineer at QORE Property Science. After a wedding trip to Jamaica the couple will reside in Anderson.
