ANDERSON Anderson police are searching for two juveniles who entered a retail store, grabbed scissors, cut packages from three MP3 players, put them in their backpacks and fled.
The players, manufactured by Memorex, Phillips and Sandisk, are valued at $194.97, according to the incident report, which stated the thefts took place between 3:38 p.m. Monday and 4 p.m. Monday at 3519 Clemson Blvd.
A store official told police that the shoplifting was recorded by a store video system, the report states.
In Anderson, shoplifting is punishable by a fine of $1,092.50 or 30 days in jail. The thieves left the scissors and packaging, the report states.
