Phillips - Burriss

The families of Ashley Michele Phillips and James Mark Burriss announce their engagement. The bride-elect is the daughter of Dr. James P. Phillips and Pamela L. Phillips of Chapin, SC. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.W. Phillips of Easley, SC and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gary C. Lance of Easley. She is a graduate of Lander University with a BS in Nursing and is an Oncology Nurse at Greenville Memorial Hospital. The groom-elect is the son of Dr. J. Thomas Burriss and Andrea N. Burriss of Belton, SC. He is the grandson of Mrs. James Claude Burriss and the late Mr. James Claude Burriss of Abbeville, SC and Mrs. Harper Alonzo Norman and the late Mr. Harper Alonzo Norman of Due West, SC. He attended Greenville Technical College and is employed as Project Manager for Earth Materials Grading Company. An October 11, 2008 wedding is planned.
