Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Meyers

WESTMINSTER, SC - Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Meyers celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 14, 2008 with a reception held at Hopewell Methodist Church, hosted by Ernestine Addis of Walhalla, SC. The couple were married on June 11, 1943 in Walhalla. Mary Meyers is the former Mary Elizabeth Nelson. She is the daughter of the late Annie Nelson of Westminster. Robert is the son of the late Clarence and Caroline Meyers of Spokane, Washington. The couple have two children, Carolyn Maybach of Gainesville, GA and Robert Meyers of Summerville, SC. They have four grandchildren. The couple attribute their long lasting marriage to love of life and family.
