Venturella - Gratzer

MARION, AK - Allison Gratzer and Carey Venturella were married June 23, 2008 in Marion, Arkansas, outside of Memphis, TN. The bride is the daughter of Denise Rein and Gary Gratzer, both of Huston, Texas. She is the granddaughter of Jein Rein and the late Harold Rein and Robert Gratzer and the late Shirley Gratzer. The groom is the son of Pam C. and Sam B. Venturella of Honea Path, SC. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bogue Wright and the late Joseph Copeland and the late Tony and Cynthia Venturella. The bride graduated from Rhodes College with a degree in biology and from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN with a doctorate in Medicine. Her chosen field is obstetrics and gynecology. She will be doing her residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital of Washington University in St. Louis, MO. The groom is a 1994 graduate of Belton - Honea Path High School and a 1998 graduate of Clemson University. He graduated in 2007 from St. George's University School of Medicine with a doctorate in Medicine. His chosen field is radiology and he is presently doing his residency at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, IL. After a wedding trip to Charleston, SC, the couple will reside in Chicago, ILL.
