Brandon Cox of McDonald Advisors Inc. earns CFP certification

ANDERSON — Brandon Cox of McDonald Advisors Inc. in Anderson has earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

To earn the certification, Cox completed the board’s financial planning coursework and passed the CFP Certification Examination. He was tested in financial planning, risk management and estate planning.

Formerly a financial planner with Merrill Lynch, Cox has worked as an independent planner with McDonald Advisors since 2001. Cox is a lifelong Anderson resident.
