ANDERSON Two children from Calvary Home for Children in Anderson have returned to the home after being reported missing early Monday.
Breno Macedo reported the two females, Francis Brown, 18, and an unidentified 11 year old, missing shortly before 3 a.m. Monday morning, according to a police report from the Anderson Police Department. Macedo’s position was not identified in the report.
Around 2 a.m., several of the other residents told Macedo the girls were missing from their bedrooms. According to the report, the beds were set up to look like someone was under the covers.
Macedo said in the report that he’d told both girls not to go out at night and refused to let them onto the porch before going to bed. One resident said she heard the runaways planning to visit Bi-Lo grocery store on Greenville Street.
The two runaways in question returned by 2 p.m. Monday. Messages left at the home were not immediately returned.
