ANDERSON — Anderson police are looking for clues in a theft that has resulted in a loss of about $740 of bras and panties from Victoria's Secret at the Anderson Mall.
The theft was reported about 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the 3131 N. Main street store.
While making a routine check of a dressing room and “upon checking behind the bench in the dressing room, the complainant found tags from bras and panties that had been taken from the store,” Officer Scott Kelley said in his report.
Between October and November, the same store accumulated a $6,280 loss from the theft of 330 pairs of panties and 20 bras, according to reports.

Would appear to me when panties and bras are taken into a dressing room and placed on the body of an unknown individual, the articles should not be returned to the sales rack to be sold. They have been worn and should be considered used merchandise.
Women should know the size of their bra and panties.
Merchandise taken into dressing rooms should be scanned in and scanned out with ID of the individuals going in.
That is if the retailers want to reduce shrinkage.

Guy, should all clothing tried on be classified as used merchandise??? Trying on bras is just like trying on a shirt- panties is a different story.
Has anyone noticed some of the women that shop at Victoria's Secret? Not a pretty visual of them wearing the scanty and revealing merchandise.
About as fetching as me wearing a thong. Not a pretty sight folks.

My comment referred to bras and panties..
If you care to purchase undergarments exposed to under arm and other body fluids feel free to do so.

Does sound a bit suspcicious if you ask me. How in the world did they get that much merchandise in the dressing room without being seen? But then again VS stuff is so expensive it may have only been a few bras ~LOL~

Speaking of undergarments being tried on in a store, I've been in thrift stores and seen donated undies. Who in their right mind would buy panties they saw at a thrift store. GROSS.

You'd think there was copper in those undergarments.
You will be able to purchase these panties at $1.00 pair this W/E at the Jockey Lot.
In my store some years back panties and men's underwear were not returnable if pack had been opened.
