ANDERSON A 45-year-old Anderson man is claiming that dinner with a woman might have motivated her husband to fire three gunshots at him during a driveby.
Anderson County Sheriff's deputies are investigating reports of gunshots about 9:30 p.m. Saturday on Boston Street.
No one was injured, no bullet holes have been found and a neighbor of the alleged victim did not hear any gunshots, deputies report. But the alleged victim said a vehicle with two men and a woman inside approached his home while he was sitting on his porch.
The man told deputies that the female driver had been at his home earlier and eaten a meal with him, the report states. The alleged victim told deputies that he does not know the woman's name.

The female driver was at his home earlier, but he doesn't know her name?
This married woman came to his house and had dinner with him and he does not know her name. He thinks this MAY have been the motivation for her husband to shoot at him? What planet are they from?
How can you sit and have dinner with someone in YOUR home and NOT know their name?! DUH!!!
ROTFL! This one is my morning laugh!! :)))
now this is a strange story, nobody saw anything, heard anything, no injuries, and cannot find any evidence anything happened.yea right.
dn't beleve I'ddatol'd ta! LOL. Sounds like the whole bunch was a few shots short.
Heeeeeeeeer's your sign.
When I was a lot younger it was fairly common for a man to take a lady home and never know her name, especially if alcohol was involved. I don't know about the supper part but I have an imagination. ;-)

Sounds like the anti-Joey people. They haven't seen anything, they haven't heard anything, and they can't find any evidence BUT he's doing it!

Hey palmsstang, Anderson roads have two lanes. One coming in and one going out. Your sign is pointing OUT! There are idiots all over the world. I love living in a town where this is a big story!

Or as I heard someone say once,
"American Airlines is ready when you are"

Because he holds all the proof in the records he spent a million dollars to hide from us. That's like saying you can't prove gravity exists. You can measure it, you can feel the effects of it. Because you can't show it to me, does that mean it doesn't exist. You are obviously someone enjoying the benefits of Joey Preston. I hope when he is shown to be the charlatan he is, it rains on your little parade as well.

I love a parade & singing in the rain. I am NOT someone enjoying the benefits of Joey Preston unless you are talking about life in general in Anderson County. Yes, I do enjoy that along with thousands of others in this county. I have only met the man a few times but I did see what this county was like a few years ago and what it's become since then. That is what convinced us to move here. You shouldn't assume things about me just because your use to doing it about him. Your wrong on both counts.
Only in a town like this can people turn a story that has absolutely nothing to do with Joey Preston or anyone involved with County Council into a discussion about just those people. If you people hate him and the way this county is ran so much move. Or better yet, run for office.
I had a date with a homeless woman, didn't know her name, after date was over she said drop her off anywhere.
