Bailey Hanks continues on "Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search for Elle Woods"

STORY TOOLS

“Where are you from?”

“South Carolina.”

“You can tell.”

This interaction between Anderson native Bailey Hanks and the assistant director of “Legally Blonde The Musical” epitomized her first audition as a finalist on “Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search for Elle Woods” on MTV Monday night.

Bailey moved into the house shared with the rest of the finalists, won the first individual challenge and impressed the judges enough to move onto the next episode. In other words, her dream of becoming Elle Woods on Broadway is still intact.

The contestants learned that auditioning for Broadway is no easy task and had to deal with dropped lines and intense training on day one. So far, her southern charm and talent have kept her going and it’s looked easy to audiences.

Anderson will still be watching next Monday.

Watch Bailey on "Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search for Elle Woods" at 10 p.m. Mondays on MTV.
