Upstate police make three drug trafficking arrests

— Three Upstate residents are in custody in the Anderson County Detention Center on charges they are involved in the trafficking of illegal drugs.

Lancaster residents Jimmy Buchanon, 33, of 1907 McIlwain Road and Demond Wilson, 36, of 1409 S. Potter Road were arrested Wednesday, according to records at the Anderson County Detention Center.

Each man is charged with trafficking cocaine and conspiracy, records show.

And a magistrate has ordered a $75,000 property bond for each man on the trafficking charge and a $30,000 property bond for each man on the conspiracy charge, according to detention records.Also Wednesday, South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers arrested Angel Davis, 28, of 115-A Dorsey Drive in Central and charged her with trafficking methamphetamine and manufacturing methamphetamine, according to detention records.

A bond for Davis had not been set as of Thursday afternoon.

Now these are realistic bonds I would like to see this trend continue after the election.
