STORY TOOLS

— Two Anderson businesses have been victims of two scam artists, according to authorities.

Detectives with the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help in locating the following people: Krystal Trenton, a black female, 29, 5 feet tall and weighing roughly 140 pounds; and Anthony Trenton, a black male, 40, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing roughly 220 pounds. The two are wanted on outstanding warrants for obtaining goods under false pretenses, according to a Sheriff’’s Office news release.

On Aug. 25 and Sept. 5, the Trentons went to two Anderson County appliance stores and asked to have items delivered to a home on Rear Lewis Street in Anderson. Once the merchandise was delivered, the Trentons wrote a check to the delivery driver on a closed account.

Anyone with information about the location of Krystal and Anthony Trenton is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (864) 332-5453 or Anderson County CrimeStoppers at (864) 231-STOP.

I was a victim of these 2 in 2006.I see they're still at it.If you check public records you'll see they've lived a life of crime for more than 10 yrs. They even brought their little twins w/ them when they scammed me.If the system isn't going to keep them locked up, I think they should wear an ankle bracelet so at least they can be tracked.

I think they should wear buckshot, then it would be no problem tracking them.

this guy they call boxer on the street is a poor excuse for a man!!!!!! he has been a criminal for as long as i have known him and thats been a long time. enough justice hasn't been served for him . i say lock him up and throw away the key.

I wrote an article about them scamming me,It was titled "Businesses Beware".Maybe if it had been printed more businesses would be aware of these criminals. But no one from The Anderson Independent ever contacted me.

I think their photo should be posted in every business in Anderson County. I printed this article & hung it up in the loby of the business I was scammed at.
