Eric Harrover of Anderson walks around his Ford F-350 truck he drove in a heavy rain and hail storm on Country Meadows Road in Anderson Tuesday after a large pecan tree limb fell in the back of his truck. Many smaller trees were blown over in the area along S.C. 187 near S.C. 24. Firefighters from Center Rock left Mr. Harrover to respond to a fire on Whitehall Road as a South Carolina Highway Patrolman arrived to process the accident. Two small carports were twisted metal in open fields nearby, a highway sign blown off its stake.
