usually when you get 4 or 5 black kids hanging around a parking lot, a shooting occurs. call it a racist comment if you want, but it is true.

have those "several" alledged county employees ever been identified. The only people who know who they are is Joey and the attorney. I would bet that these two or three people are in high ranking positions who Joey put into place. these people probably stand to lose their jobs along with Joey when the new council takes over. if I were in that position, i would say i had been harrassed also. try to get a little money from a lawsuit just before getting the boot out of the door. it's a crock.

i never said he hired and fired, i just said under his leadership this has happened. i know he has a boss, the publisher that was hired within the recent years, it's time for him to go to.

also under his leadership, a lot of people were laid off. most of the people laid off had at least 15 years at this newspaper and two that i know of had over 30 years with this paper. glad to see you go. and don't let the door hit you in the a** on the way out

If I was a betting man(and I am), I would bet that chief Brown wanted Johnson fired.(that is what should have happened) However, due to race issues, the coucil overturned the decision and voted to reprimand Johnson instead. Imagine the uproar from the black community if a white chief fired a black captain. I heard rumors that his position was changed also, Captain of Internal Affairs maybe. Sounds like a crock to me.

maybe you should know your facts before you spout off, Bloodgood is a personnel attorney for anderson county. it is not said in this story, but check older stories.

you're an idiot. maybe you should apply if you think you could do a better job. you shouldn't criticize people for doing a job that you are afraid to do. truth be known, your job goes something like this, "pull up to the next window please"
