Once again, you have no idea what you are saying. Judges impose sentences, not solicitors. The governor grants pardons, not the solicitor. The Parole Board grants paroles, not the solicitor. Juries find defendants guilty or not guilty. I suggest you spend time in the courthouse and watch how our solicitors work for the benefit of all citizens of Anderson County. Remember, a solicitor is not charged with sending people to jail, but to ensure that JUSTICE is served for all involved, victims and defendants.

Drawdy's entire campaign was a joke. Moved to Anderson for the FIRST time in October 2007. Never lived here before, even when she worked here. Only tried 17 drug cases and never any murder cases. Only 4 years experience as an attorney, not even qualified to represent defendants on death penalty work in accordance with the South Carolina Supreme Court guidelines not to mention the ABA. Absolutely no experience running an office or managing people or a budget. Ran a campaign saying she will deport illegal aliens when knowing full well that she would not have the power to do so. Accepted money from criminal defense lawyers in Spartanburg then blasted Adams for doing the same.
Its a long commute to Spartanburg from Anderson with gas prices as they are. Drive safely.

Where is Hanna on this list? Nowhere. None of the Anderson area schools even made the list. Makes you wonder what is being taught in our schools. Or perhaps maybe they did not participate for fear of what the results may show

OJ was not found innocent, he was found not guilty. Big difference. Anywho, the fact that there is an election had no impact upon his right to a bond. Under South Carolina law, you are entitled to a bond unless it can be shown that you are a flight risk or danger to the community. I would think that there is nothing more dangerous to the community and a flight risk than someone charged with shooting a police officer. By the way, once again showing your ignorance of the court system, South Carolina does not have an attempted murder statute. He has been charged with Assault and Battery with Intent to Kill aka ABWIK. You know you can find books about these things in the library, its that big building on McDuffie Street.

Whoops, once again you are showing your ignorance of the court system. Judge Mattison is a city judge for the city of Anderson, he is not involved in General Sessions Court time as he has no jurisdiction. I'm sure that this defendant was denied bond because of the election--wait! HE SHOT A POLICE OFFICER? Maybe THAT is why he was denied bond.

Are we creating kids who can take a test or think critically for themselves. I would suggest they cannot critically think. The high school I attended is ranked in the top 100 by US News and World Report (been as high as #8). There was no such testing there except for AP.

Did you honestly believe that $12K was his bond on Armed Robbery Charges and Assault and Battery with Intent to Kill where a police officer was shot? Maybe you need to spend some time learning about how the courts work before you decide who is best for our solicitor.
